Turkey and Whitetail Regional Pro Staff
Marshall Collette is the Mossy Oak Turkey & Whitetail Regional Pro Staff Manager for the states of Michigan and Virginia. He is the Mossy Oak Whitetail Regional Pro Staff Manager for the states of South Carolina and North Carolina. Marshall lives in North Carolina and has been hunting all his life.
At an early age, Marshall started hunting with his father and grandfather for squirrels, rabbits and quail. Today he enjoys turkey and deer hunting. He is semi-retired from the construction industry and now enjoys hunting several states each year.
Marshall has competed in turkey calling contests and is a past state turkey calling and owl hooting and gobbling champion in North Carolina.
The National Wild Turkey Federation has been a big part of Marshall’s life and he has been an active volunteer worker for the organization for many years. For the North Carolina chapter of NWTF, he served as president for two years, secretary for two years, vice president for four years and on the board of directors for fifteen years. In 2011, Marshall was inducted into the North Carolina NWTF Wild Turkey Hall of Fame, the highest award one can receive in North Carolina.
In addition to his work with the NWTF, Marshall has been a Pro Staff member with Quaker Boy Game Calls for over fifteen years. Marshall’s voice can be heard in the Mossy Oak Turkey Thug powered by Quaker Boy Line of Calls commercials on the Outdoor Channel and Sportsman & Pursuit Channels.
Marshal loves to introduce kids and first-time hunters to the sport.
Michael Leslie of Petersham, Massachusetts is the Mossy Oak Turkey/Whitetail Regional Pro Staff Manager for the New England States.
Mike’s hunting career has lead him to numerous amounts of Longbeards and Whitetail taken within New England. His love for chasing Whitetail Deer and Eastern Wild Turkeys with his bow and arrow is what Mike lives for when he’s not working as a local patrolman for the Town of Petersham.
Mike’s archery accomplishments have led to sponsorships by AEP Archery, Brunton Optics, C.C. Porter Release Aids, True Spot Scopes, and Mossy Oak to name a few. While competing all over New England as well as National and World competitions, Mike has won a large amount of NAA, NFAA and IBO tournaments. He claims his love for the outdoors grew for his desire to shoot his bow and has involved into a way of life.
Mike graduated from Unity College with a major in Conservation Law Enforcement and a minor in Wildlife in 2009. Mike has successfully shared his strong passion for hunting with his wife Tina and son Kyler; and will soon be welcoming another hunting member to the family. His goal is to pave the path for his family on how to be a devoted gamekeeper of the land and to share with them how to become an avid hunter and caretaker for the environment.
His love for the sport of hunting drives him to promote the outdoors too youth and newcomers, and to share what he believes to be the best gift given to us, Wildlife! To Mike, hunting is more than a passion, it is an obsession that he lives for 365 days a year.
Chris Jones of Weatherford, Texas is the Mossy Oak Turkey/Whitetail Regional Pro Staff Manager for the state of Texas. Chris is an avid bowhunter and a strong supporter of wildlife conservation.
Chris’ hunting career has lead him to numerous amounts of Longbeards and Whitetail taken in Texas. His love for chasing Whitetail Deer and Rio Grande wild turkeys with his bow and arrow is what Chris lives for when he’s not working as a aircraft builder/mechanic.
Chris competed for several years in ASA Archery and has a huge passion for archery and bowhunting. He also serves on the Pro Staff for Black Eagle Arrows, Ghost Blind and is on the Scent Lok advisory team. He has also guided for several whitetail and turkey hunters.
Born and raised in Weatherford, Texas, his love for hunting and the outdoors began at a young age. His love for archery evolved from always wanting to take hunting to the next level and wanting more of a challenge than rifle hunting gave.
He has a true passion for the outdoors and loves introducing men, women and children to the outdoor lifestyle and hunting. He enjoys teaching the importance of wildlife conservation & game management to people.
When not hunting whitetail and turkey, he spends his time doing varmint/predator/hog control and scouting for whitetail.
